Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) in Riverside, CA, is hiring an Energy Inventory Material Specialist (Temp To Hire) to manage advanced material handling, inventory movement, and interdepartmental coordination for manufacturing operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in material handling, forklift certification, and knowledge of lean material flow. You will ensure material availability, proper labeling, and safe handling of materials on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in material handling, inventory control, or logistics.
• Valid forklift certification is required.
• Experience handling battery packs or electrical devices.
• Ability to read work orders, material pick lists, and engineering prints.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and deliver materials to production per schedules and multiple lines.
• Operate forklifts and other PITs safely to move materials throughout the facility.
• Conduct inventory audits and support root cause investigations for discrepancies.
• Label, store, and rotate raw materials and components (FIFO).
• Receive, inspect, and reconcile inbound materials against PO; resolve discrepancies.
• Record transactions using ERP or WMS.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
• Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving for timely transfers of materials and finished goods.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
• Support warehouse optimization initiatives and continuous improvement.
