You will operate forklifts, stage materials for production, and support inventory accuracy while following safety guidelines. Qualifications

• Understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of materials such as mild and stainless steel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for tracking inventory transactions.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage materials for production based on work orders and schedules.
• Load/unload/transport materials within the facility using forklifts, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
• Accurately maintain and control replenishing of assembly materials through simulations, min/max, put away, ordering, and pulling kits based on sales orders and production schedule.
• Organize bins and work centers efficiently (label placement, consistent labeling, bin size, and utilization of floor space)
• Prepare for and participate in physical inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions in the inventory system.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with company policies.
• Work with warehouse and production teams to prevent material shortages and delays.
• Identify and report damaged or defective materials to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Deliver raw materials and components to production areas as needed.
