Job summary

Divergent in Long Beach, California seeks a Material Handler to support production build teams through efficient material handling, kitting, and inbound/outbound logistics on a full-time, on-site basis. The role requires weekend shifts and frequent material movement between facilities with a company vehicle provided.

Applicants should have strong ERP/MRP experience, inventory management skills, and the ability to operate forklifts and related equipment, with a focus on accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience with inventory management and production kitting processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels within ERP and transact material between locations.
• Receive inventory into ERP and collect relevant data with documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and stock locations in MRPs/ERP.
• Perform cycle counts and report findings for approval.
• Report and track material stock levels.
• Perform kitting for production operations with care for delicate parts.
• Ensure incoming parts are received and distributed to stock or stakeholders.
• Package and stage finished goods for outbound shipments.
• Schedule domestic/international shipments with couriers to meet schedules.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack or scissor lift to move materials.
• Support department metrics, goals, and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
