Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a dependable Material Handler I to support the movement, sorting, and handling of donated materials within our processing plant. Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years of experience in warehouse operations.
• One to two years of experience loading 53', 48' containers and box trucks.
• One year supervisory experience.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, and unload raw donated material, salvage commodities, trash, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring all items are placed in their designated locations within the plant.
• Follow Kaizen guidelines and 5‑minute drills to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout all material‑handling processes.
• Assist in salvage sorting operations and cross‑train to support additional plant roles as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service to stores, administrative teams, vendors, and donors while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
