Goodwill Industries of South Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to move, load and unload goods safely and efficiently. You will operate hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklift equipment to prepare shipments and maintain accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include labeling, palletizing, loading/unloading with verification of shipping information, and performing other related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Moves material to and from various locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or Forklift equipment.
• Pack labels and palletize materials as necessary.
• Loads and unloads materials from common carriers and verifies shipping / receiving information.
• Records inventories as required.
• May dispense contract work to individual work department sites.
• Performs other activities as requested.
