Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Material Handler I for a 5:00am to 1:30pm shift. The role involves unloading, moving, and storing materials, checking identifications, and performing inventory transactions in the G&W system.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting manufacturing processes. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to safely use pallet jacks and manual moving tools.
• Ability to read Bills of Material.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team.
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials per routing and orders.
• Perform inventory transactions in the system and conduct cycle counts.
• Move materials between cells and departments as required.
• Fill orders from stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck and pallet jack for loading/unloading.
