Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking a Material Handler I to join our team in Wisconsin. You will help manage inventory and ensure products are accurately received, picked, packed, and shipped to customers in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols while supporting cross-training across Material Handler responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate basic material handling equipment.
• Ability to use and read measuring devices (tape measures).
• Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency (data entry).

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, and ship materials accurately.
• Manage inventory, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in orders or inventory.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and SOPs.
• Perform basic computer and data entry tasks.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Maintain organized and efficient inventory storage.
• Support all Material Handler I responsibilities through cross-training.
