Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the production facility and warehouse. Responsibilities include maintaining material supply at operating machines and ensuring proper documentation and lot-number control, especially for regrind materials.

The role requires basic injection molding knowledge, prior machine operator and materials handling experience, and strong numeracy. Onsite schedule is Monday–Thursday evenings with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the injection molding process.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Previous materials handling experience.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Clean and load all hoppers as required at setup.
• Ensure excellent housekeeping to avoid contamination of materials.
• Be aware of correct drying conditions for each material and set machine dryers accordingly; monitor and change filters daily.
• Move finished goods to warehouse or designated location and complete required paperwork.
• Mark all hoppers, gaylords, boxes and containers with material ID, quantity, and date as needed.
• Mix color concentrates, foaming agents, regrind, etc. at correct let-down ratio to meet job requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
