Job summary

OBE is seeking a Material Handler I to move material such as glass and metal within our plant, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will off-load/on-load products from tables, racks, trucks, and crates, read simple measurements with a tape, and ensure accurate labeling. The position offers training and growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of products from tables, rolling racks, trucks, or crates.
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic measurements with a tape measure.
• Adhere to quality standards provided to customers.
