Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler I in Houston, TX. The role involves unloading shipments, directing their movement to storage, and verifying goods in the Warehouse Management System. You will prepare packing slips, labels, and bills of lading, ensuring accurate quantities and conditions.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and up to two years of related experience. Forklift certification and a valid driver’s license are essential, with hazmat certification

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Forklift certification and valid driver’s license; hazmat certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Unload and direct movement of shipments from dock to storage/work areas.
• Verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments in the Warehouse Management System.
• Gather, verify, and place items into order picking containers for outgoing shipments.
• Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents.
• Keep warehouse areas and equipment clean, orderly, and maintained.
• Replenish primary stock from reserve locations as needed.
• Operate a forklift; drive duties after hours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
