Job summary

O’Neal Manufacturing Services in Fayette, AL is seeking a Material Handler I to safely manage materials, operate forklifts, load and unload trucks, receive and store inventory, and support production with parts assembly. You will help maintain a clean, safe work area and support quality standards.

You will perform shipping/receiving tasks, move materials with hand trucks and cranes, assist with parts cleaning and painting prep, and collaborate with team members to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Simple problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mix paints, preferred.
• Ability to use a conventional paint gun and an airless gun.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
• Good reading of measuring devices and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Shipping/Receiving: receive inbound inventory, store, pull, and load material.
• Material handling: move material with hand trucks, forklifts, cranes.
• Parts cleaning/assembly: clean parts and assist with assembly.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; support safety and quality programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
