Job summary

Takasago International Corporation U S A invites you to join a Material Handler I Shipping and Receiving role in Teterboro, NJ. This full-time manual labor position supports production through accurate handling, packaging, labeling and inventory management in a chemical/flavor context.

Responsibilities include following instructions, operating equipment safely, and maintaining inventory with attention to FIFO. Forklift operation and basic computer use are expected. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level needed to interact with other employees.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform all labor duties to assist production of flavor products.
• Follow written and verbal instructions for handling, measuring, and labeling of ingredients and products.
• Pack and label manufactured products for shipment preparation.
• Possess ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
• Operate equipment safely (e.g., conveyors, forklifts) per policies.
• Demonstrate safety policy adherence to prevent injuries and losses.
• Overtime may be required as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision/management.
• Show initiative in performing tasks 30–70% of the time without direction.
• Maintain inventory processes including FIFO and movement records.
