Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking a Material Handler to support a dynamic warehouse, supplying production with materials for rail vehicle manufacturing. You will handle receiving, put away, picking, kitting and delivery, ensuring accuracy in MRP transactions and proper labeling.

The role emphasizes safety, PPE, and efficient material flow to production, with opportunities to advance in a leading rail manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
• Previous Powered Industrial Vehicle certification would be impressive

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements, including use of all required PPE.
• Receive, put away, pick, kit, or deliver material to production.
• Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements in the MRP system.
• Ensure all material is properly identified with labels and part numbers.
• Meet production schedule for material delivery to production.
• Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.
