Job summary

Progress Rail is seeking a self-motivated Material Handler in Mayfield, KY to support production by pulling, stocking, loading, and delivering parts to workstations. Responsibilities include inventory control, safe operation of forklifts and cranes, accurate documentation, and timely material delivery to production floors.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in material handling, basic data entry skills, and the ability to work under fast-paced conditions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of material handling experience.
• Basic PC knowledge for data entry.
• Self-starter with ability to work with little supervision.
• Forklift, pallet jack, mobile equipment and/or crane experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and unload materials/parts and store in inventory.
• Identify, draw from inventory, and transport material to assembly areas and shipping/receiving areas.
• Operate material handling equipment and ensure accuracy in inventory documentation.
• Load and unload shipments, verify against manifests, and deliver to correct locations.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and follow instructions and standards.
