Job summary

Roeslein Modular Fabrication, located in Red Bud, IL, is seeking a driver to perform delivering, packaging, and shipping of modular structures and conveyance. You will transport project material between facilities, load and unload trucks, and ensure cargo security and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a CDL-A, a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and willingness to work overtime, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-Class A required
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing/industrial construction experience preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude is required.
• Experience with handheld tools (drill, circular saw) and assembling parts is required.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Reading blueprints preferred.
• Personal tools per department list required.
• Must work at heights.
• Forklift and crane operation strongly preferred; prior experience a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including frequent overtime and weekends.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees or loads and unloads truck, securing all cargo.
• Transport project material between Roeslein facilities.
• Maintain truck log and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other safety items.
• Report maintenance items and safety concerns to Shipping Supervisor.
• Operate various hand and power tools as required and qualified.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety policies.
