Job summary

Watts Water in Groveport, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler I to ensure accurate shipment of customer and agent orders. You will verify, pack, and load outbound LTL and truckload shipments, and collaborate with the distribution team to maintain product integrity.

Reporting to the Distribution Center Supervisor, you will operate digital scales and support dock operations while demonstrating reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of related experience in a warehouse or distribution role.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation manuals.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to interpret bar graphs and data charts.

Responsibilities

• Verify and pack outbound shipments (LTL and truckload) accurately.
• Optimize loading for efficient use of space and safe transit.
• Ensure proper loading and handling to protect product integrity.
• Support dock operations and movement of equipment and goods.
• Operate digital scales as needed.
