Watts Water Technologies in Groveport, Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler I to ensure accurate and timely shipment of customer and agent orders. You will verify, pack, and load outbound shipments including LTL and full truckloads, reporting to the Distribution Center Supervisor.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, with ability to read safety rules and operate scales.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Aufgaben

• Verify and pack all outbound LTL and truck load shipments for correct quantities and items.
• Ensure the optimum loading of all outbound trailers for accuracy, integrity, load sequence, and maximized cube shipments.
• Verify for proper loading to ensure safe transit of material to customers.
• Help control flow of people, equipment, and product on dock as it pertains to completion of orders, receipt of incoming, and transfers within inter-plant.
• Must be able to operate digital scales.
• Other duties as assigned.
