Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Lawrence, KS is seeking a forklift operator to perform daily inspection and care of equipment, load/unload trailers, and stage finished products. The role requires teamwork, basic math and computer skills, and reliable time management.

Qualifications

  • Daily inspection and care of equipment.

Responsibilities


  • Daily inspection and care of equipment.

  • Communicate with your shift's Front Line Leader concerning daily work priorities.

  • Load and unload trailers in a safe manor.

  • Complete cycle counts.

  • Stage finished product.

  • Pull orders from inventory and report inventory discrepancies.

  • Work weekends and/or overtime as assigned.

  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements (limited list provided)


  • Mounting and dismounting forklift

  • Driving forklift

  • Changing forklift battery /or propane tank

  • Transferring product from pallet to pallet

  • Picking up empty pallets and stacking them


Starting wage for this position is $20.50 + shift differential
