Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions seeks a Material Handler I for our Horn Lake, MS distribution center on 2nd shift. You will move materials, load/unload freight, and operate forklifts and scanning equipment to maintain accurate inventory and organized stock areas.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with warehouse systems. Clamp experience and 3–6 months forklift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in the material handling function.
• Demonstrated ability to speak, read and write English.
• Proven ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
• Working knowledge of computerized warehouse systems.
• Clamp experience is desired.
• Must have at least 3-6 months forklift operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and move materials within division, plant, or warehouse.
• Load and safely unload freight.
• Operate all material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, and computer terminals.
• Forklift operations duties.
• May verify incoming material against documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
• May assemble, pack or pick materials, and kit materials.
• Perform counting acts for inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Move or remove materials to/from storage areas.
• Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas; follow safety rules and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
