Material Handler I - 2nd Shift - Defined Term

Job Overview

Prepare all products for sterilization, following all related procedures. The role also includes responsibilities in shipping, warehouse, and mailroom operations.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Inspect & pack (lot preparation) according to specific procedures.
• Distribute components and supplies to manufacturing.
• Perform all transactions according to procedures.
• Perform mail services such as pickup/drop off at Post Office, sorting, delivery within building, and maintenance and service of postal machine.
• Pack items to be shipped.
• Inventory control and cycle counting.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous waste per procedure.
• Handle and deliver customer complaint items.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center (preferred).
• SAP or other ERP software knowledge (preferred).
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent software (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.

This is a “Defined Term” assignment lasting approximately 6 months or until project completion. Defined Term employees are eligible for most benefits including health insurance and paid time off during the assignment.
