Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Southington, CT is hiring a materials handler to move and stock materials, perform cycle counts, and load finished goods on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM) with overtime as designated.

The role requires reading shipping lists, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and safe forklift/pallet jack operation. SAP experience is preferred; strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation and material movement.
• Ability to accurately cycle count raw materials.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping/packing lists.
• Strong computer skills for automated systems.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Move materials safely and efficiently between locations.
• Issue and stock production lines accurately.
• Cycle count raw materials as required.
• Pick and load finished goods.
• Ensure finished goods are loaded safely and correctly.
• Verify manufacturing loads are correct and properly combined.
• Weigh scrap material and prepare for pickup.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
