Job summary

The Hillman Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Base rate is $17.50 per hour. You will move and stock materials, pick and replenish at workstations, and transfer finished products to designated areas.

Responsibilities include using hand scanners, loading/unloading at Receiving, operating pallet jack and forklift, and maintaining safety practices. OSHA-compliant safety program participation is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Forklift operation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock materials to designated areas.
• Use a hand scanner and RF scanner.
• Picks incoming materials from Receiving dock.
• Unload and store stock in Bulk storage area.
• Provide replenishment materials to workstations to ensure workflow.
• Transfer finished products to designated areas.
• Operate a manual and/or motorized pallet jack.
• Report problems to management when encountered.
