Job summary

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler I to join the Union, OH team. The role supports the Assembly Department with basic clerical tasks and on-floor execution, including item master, bin locations, and warehousing slotting.

The incumbent will maintain PKMS data, perform slotting moves, and use Excel reports to correct records. Strong attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and effective communication are essential to succeed in this role.

The Material Handler I is responsible for basic clerical responsibilities and operational execution on warehouse floor in support of the Assembly Department, including, but not limited to item master, bin location maintenance, and warehouse slotting.

Responsibilities

What Will You Do?

• Calculate, weights & dimensions; ensure item master information is correct in PKMS.
• Maintain accurate bin location data to support operations.
• Execute slotting moves as needed. Use excel reports to identify and correct item master, LPN, and active location records.
• Complete updates within PKMS to support initiatives as required.
• Create and maintain training documents for warehouse functions.
• Communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, and members of management. Assist the supervisor to plan and organize effectively.
