Position: Material Handler I

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin distribution center

Position Details: This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). No weekends or holidays! Paid Time Off includes 18 days during your first year. Imperial offers benefits starting Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, the role includes six paid holidays and a 6% company contribution to a 401K plan with immediate vesting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform safe and accurate manual packaging of products, including inbound material and assortment kit assembly, using packaging labeling systems, printers, automated packaging equipment, scales, tape guns, mechanical staplers, and shrink wrapping.
• Document packaging activities using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.
• Pick orders on the warehouse floor using non-powered industrial equipment.
• Perform cart put-away, restocking, and assist with inventory cycle counts on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least one year of general knowledge of distribution or manufacturing operations.
• Basic math skills, effective reading and writing skills.
• Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to stand and walk most of the time in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
