Job summary

Sharps Medical Waste Services is seeking a Material Handler to support daily waste processing operations at our Woodstock, GA location. You will safely move materials, maintain a clean work area, and assist with core plant functions while training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years in warehouse, manufacturing, sanitation, or labor roles preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely and efficiently.
• Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
• Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
• Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
• Weigh box waste and record processing information.
• Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; perform housekeeping tasks.
• Follow company safety policies and guidelines.
• Track and document daily processing and production volumes.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily operations.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects.
