Sharps Medical Waste Services is seeking a Material Handler to support daily waste processing operations. The role involves safely moving materials, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with core plant functions. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, sanitation, or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and push/pull loads up to 200 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload autoclave carts and box waste safely.
• Move carts through tipping and cart washing equipment.
• Clean containers and equipment using pressure washing tools.
• Inspect carts and containers for cleanliness and damage.
• Weigh box waste and accurately record processing information.
• Bale cardboard and assist with loading trailers for shipment.
