Job summary

Irby Utilities is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations at our West Valley City location. You will load, unload, and move materials, use RF devices to fulfill orders, and operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read and write in English, and work 40 hours per week. A focus on accuracy, safety, and reliability is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
• Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site.
• Use RF devices to fill orders and issue materials per requests.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Champion inventory management practices.
• Adhere to and promote safety and security policies and procedures.
