Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support the distribution area at our facility in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, verifying transactions, and operating material handling equipment to ensure timely shipments.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, some warehouse experience, and Forklift certification after 90 days. Proficiency with Windows and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience in general warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficient with Basic Microsoft Windows Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Forklift certification mandatory after 90 days.
• Must obtain a Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) License.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Medium physical effort required.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for several hours daily.
• Effective communication skills and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions and compare to production, including physical inspection of goods.
• Operate manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, put away and replenish materials.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders.
• Ensure correct pallets are used and built according to EXACTA and supplier criteria.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required.
• Troubleshoot and communicate issues to ensure timely turnover in shipping/sortation area.
• Complete a Pre‑Shift Checklist on all powered material handling equipment including battery water, charging and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including pallet sorting and wrapping, and report quality changes.
• Follow GMPs and assist with training of new employees.
