Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our Distribution team in the United States. You will load and unload materials, verify transactions, and operate material handling equipment to keep lines supplied and orders moving.

You will also use warehouse management systems, maintain inventory accuracy, and support training as needed. The role emphasizes GMP practices, safety, and a commitment to quality across our beauty brands.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience in general warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Basic Microsoft Windows Suite.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities.
• Verify the accuracy of any transactions and compare to what was produced, including visual inspection.
• Operate manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, putaway and replenish materials throughout the facility.
• Utilize Warehouse management systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders.
• Ensure correct pallets are used and built based on EXACTA and Customer supplier criteria.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required.
• Troubleshoot and communicate problems to ensure timely turnover in shipping/sortation area.
• Complete a Pre-Shift Checklist on all powered material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including sorting pallets, wrapping stacked cardboard on pallets, and communicating any quality changes.
• Follow GMPs and safety policies.
