Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a Material Handler to support the distribution area, loading/unloading, and ensuring accurate transactions and inventory. You will operate manual and powered equipment and document shipments using the warehouse management system.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience in general warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Basic Microsoft Windows Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Forklift certification mandatory after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions and compare to production, including physical inspection of goods.
• Operate manual and power material handling equipment to retrieve, putaway and replenish materials.
• Utilize Warehouse management systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders.
• Ensure correct pallets are used based on EXACTA and Customer supplier criteria.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required.
• Troubleshoot and communicate problems to ensure timely turnover in shipping/sortation area.
• Complete a Pre-Shift Checklist on all powered material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including sorting pallets and wrapping pallets.
• Follow all GMPs.
• Perform various other duties as assigned including assisting with training of new employees.
