Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. seeks an intermediate level Material Handler to join our team in Tennessee. The role involves stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading/unloading materials, and operating powered industrial trucks to fulfill customer orders.

You will use the Warehouse Management System (WMS), verify stock, convey orders to packing or shipping, conduct daily cycle counts, and maintain a safe, organized work area while following all safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience; 6 months stand-up forklift or order picker experience; pallet jack accepted with no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift and/or crane equipment.
• Keys orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying safety rules and reporting accidents.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Operates wireless devices (tablet, scanners) and automated equipment.
• Conducts daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material.
• Performs other related duties as required.
