Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking an intermediate Material Handler to join our team. The role focuses on stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading/unloading materials, with hours Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm.

You will operate forklifts, verify stock, and ensure safe, efficient material flow within a large tile manufacturing environment. The position requires standing, manual handling up to 75 lbs, and regular lifting of 40–70 lb items.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or experience.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator credential.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience; 6 months stand-up forklift or order picker experience; pallet jack experience optional.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or crane equipment.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Monitor equipment/processes and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
• Operate wireless devices (tablets, scanners) and automated equipment.
• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material.
• Perform other related duties as required.
