Job summary

Halma plc is seeking a Materials Handler in the United States to support manufacturing by preparing and delivering materials per lot cards, drawings, and work orders. You will read work orders, determine material specs, cut using cutting equipment, and process transactions in the ERP system while maintaining accurate inventory.

This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company OE policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading work orders and performing barcode transactions.
• Accurate material picking and inventory transactions with ERP.
• Proficient in data entry and utilizing business systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine required disk material thickness using formulas and procedures.
• Cut materials using cutting tables or square shears.
• Use Flashcut machine to cut gasket material per lot cards/drawings/work orders.
• Operate computer, Flashcut program, and Flashcut machine for efficient material cutting.
• Provide and deliver material to craftsmen per needs.
• Perform order picking by reading pick tickets and scanning with barcode systems.
• Record transactions for material on lot cards or job travellers in ERP.
