Job summary

FY HOLDINGS CORP is seeking a Material Handler to proactively supply raw materials to production lines and maintain accurate inventory. The role includes putting away deliveries, performing inventory transactions, and daily reconciliation under the supervision of the Production Planner.

1st Shift (5:45am - 2pm) paying $17.50 per hour. The ideal candidate will operate forklift/clamp trucks safely, ensure housekeeping, and support continuous improvement while coordinating with other departments to

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Warehouse/logistics/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to drive a forklift/clamp truck.
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively supply raw materials to production ensuring production does not run out.
• Accurately process material transactions in the Inventory System.
• Maintain an accurate inventory.
• Perform material changeovers.
• Correct and debug all inventory and WIP transactions as required.
• Assist with WIP and Finished Goods material movement as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Participate in physical Inventory and cycle count efforts.
• Assist with the Production Supply Inventory program, including delivering as able.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Support and maintain safe work practices.
• Regular and consistent attendance.

Position Summary/Objective

The material handler is responsible for proactively supplying raw materials to the machines. This position will maintain the organization of raw material inventory and put away raw material deliveries. The material handler will perform inventory transactions. And daily reconciliation of inventory levels and transactions as directed by Production Planner.

1st Shift (5:45am - 2pm) $17.50/hr

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Proactively supply raw materials to production ensuring production does not run out.
• Accurately process material transacted in the Inventory System following pre-established guidelines and work instructions.
• Maintain an accurate inventory.
• Perform material changeovers.
• Correct and debug all inventory and WIP transactions as required.
• Assist with WIP and Finished Goods material movement as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Participate in physical Inventory and cycle count efforts.
• Assist with the Production Supply Inventory program, including delivering as able.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.

Secondary Functions & Responsibilities

• Participation in other duties and projects as required.
• Assist with baling scrap and dispositioning rolls and material.
• Assist shipping/receiving department as needed.
• Assist machine operators as needed.

Education & Experience

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Warehouse/logistics/shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
