Job Title: Material Handler

Salary: $16.82

Location: Monroe

About The Position

The Production Associate unloads donations from containers and moves goods to appropriate production areas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Remove and sort salvage material and garbage from salable goods.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Ensure smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify problems.
• Maintain donor tallies.
• Keep a clean work environment.
• Practice safe work habits and report hazards or accidents.
• Build and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to team efforts.
• If certified: safely operate forklift per Seattle Goodwill standards.
• Minors are not permitted to operate heavy machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no experience required. Forklift certification optional if eligible. Ability to lift 30-40 pounds, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively. Outdoor and warehouse environment with temperature variations and dust exposure.
