Job summary

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler [Forklift Operator] to receive, select, and load materials in a high-traffic warehouse environment in Dallas. You will operate forklifts safely, verify order accuracy after packaging, and provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and familiarity with hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Ability to understand and follow safety/work instructions.
• Capable of performing physical work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, and load materials.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance).
• Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
