Job summary

ResourceMFG is hiring a Material Handler in Michigan to support manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role involves moving, storing, organizing, and tracking materials to maintain inventory accuracy and support production schedules.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to communicate in Spanish. The shift runs Monday–Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with starting pay around $18.00+ per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Spanish speaking required.
• Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of inventory control and material handling practices.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, identify, move, and organize incoming materials.
• Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Ensure FIFO inventory processes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling procedures.
• Store materials in designated locations according to company standards.
• Pull and return materials as required for production operations.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory control initiatives.
• Complete material containment activities and inventory adjustments when necessary.
• Safely stack, store, and relocate materials and containers.
• Replace damaged boxes and packaging as needed.
• Use forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Participate in quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep work areas organized.
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
