Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch for long shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle all material needed in the fabrication department.
• Identify, label, and store materials in appropriate storage areas.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments.
• Inspect forklifts daily and complete the checklist.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding inventory.
• Sort materials for processing or transport.
• Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
