Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 0–2 years of related material handler driver experience.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.
• Interpersonal skills to develop professional working relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify, analyze, address and resolve problems; strong decision-making skills.
• Organizational skills to track information in ordering/production processes.
• Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheets, word processors, and order processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Take physical receipt of all material from vendors, ensuring counts and that material is damage free before signing.
• Audit material against packing slip to ensure received quantity matches vendor reports.
• Receive material against system PO once audit is complete.
• Check system for work order shortages and allocate accordingly.
• Stage material for Receiving Inspection in QA area.
• Stock material not needed immediately in Receiving Inspection or for work orders; create new location when needed.
• Maintain a neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Assist other departments when needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Lifts heavy items and operates a forklift.
• Able to operate hand tools (drill, circular saw, sealer).
