Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Interpersonal communication, listening and safety practices are essential.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Strong initiative, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and railcars with finished product.
• Break down and set up raw material railcars.
• Operate an engine locomotive, shuttle wagon, track mobile, and forklift.
• Collect samples from railcars and trailers.
• Process bills of lading, COAs, and load sheets for shipments.
• Input data using computers, scanners, and manual entry.
• Complete rail yard inventory and update the computer database.
• Communicate with scale gate, co-workers, and truck drivers via radio/phone.
• Perform general housekeeping.
