Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to operate packaging equipment, provide forklift support, and maintain the packaging area while replenishing materials. The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and efficient material flow across shifts.

You will handle loading/unloading, palletizing, cycle counts, and documentation, with overtime possible and strict adherence to PPE and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent/1-2 year vocational training required.
• Safety conscious mindset essential for a manufacturing environment.
• Basic maintenance skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report in-process quality observations to teammates.
• Manage work in progress and multitask across duties.
• Maintain 5S posture in the assigned area.
• Operate forklifts safely and follow company policies.
• Identify material classifications including prime, rework and scrap.
• Complete production paperwork and verify daily output.
• Unload incoming materials and load finished product for transport.
• Build pallets and assist packagers as needed.
• Participate in cycle counts and overtime as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
