Job summary

American Packaging Corporation (APC) is seeking a highly reliable Shipping/Receiving associate in DeForest, WI. You will load and unload trucks, stage materials, and support production with raw materials and in-process rolls.

You will also label goods and maintain organized warehouse operations to ensure efficient production flow. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to operate forklifts and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform simple math for counts and measurements.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks.
  • Stage material and inventory raw materials.
  • Supply machinery with raw materials and in-process rolls.
  • Label and warehouse finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean, organized S/R area.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and attend mandatory meetings.
  • Operate fork trucks safely and recharge batteries as needed.
  • Assist with cycle counts and material receiving via AS400.
