Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Columbia, SC is hiring Stand-Up Forklift Operators for the second shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am). Weekly pay with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth are offered.

Position involves forklift operation, loading/unloading, and accuracy in picking/packing in a clean, safety‑minded environment, with paid training and 30‑day benefits eligibility. Valid forklift license preferred; punctuality and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines and safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ryder is hiring Stand-Up Forklift Operators in Columbia, South Carolina — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $17.50 per hour
• Shift Pay: $1.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $5.00 per hour extra, when working a Saturday or Sunday
• Schedule: Second Shift 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
• 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on. 36 hours one week and 48 the next, in continuous cycle - every other weekend will be a 3 day weekend off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
