Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking a Forklift Operator in Owensboro, KY. The role supports safe, efficient material handling across the facility, with a 4-on, 4-off schedule and night shift from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM.

Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00, paid weekly. Applicants must have at least 1 year of forklift experience, pass a background check and drug screening, and be able to lift 50 lbs or more. PPE and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, and lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Must wear PPE: safety glasses, hard hat, high-visibility vest, steel-toe/composite-toe shoes, long pants.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Pulling orders and maintaining accurate inventory.
• Loading, securing, and moving products and materials.
• Completing required shipping and inventory documentation.
• Keeping inventory, loading, and equipment areas clean and organized.
• Following all workplace safety policies and procedures.

Job Skills / Requirements

Schedule:

• 4-On, 4-Off Schedule: Work four consecutive shifts, followed by four consecutive days off.
• Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM

Pay: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

As a Forklift Operator, you will help keep materials moving safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
