Job summary

Mebane, NC-based LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Material Handler to maintain clean and safe facilities. You will operate a forklift, perform routine cleaning, and support overall site upkeep in a full-time weekend schedule.

Shift is Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with pre-employment background checks and drug screens. Eligible for standard benefits and a team-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Basic forklift knowledge.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and practices.
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Transport manufacturing waste via forklift within warehouse.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, walls, and surfaces as needed.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, being comfortable operating a Forklift , and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
