Job summary

Interface, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for our West Point, GA facility. You will be responsible for accurate storing, shipping, receiving and delivery of yarn and materials to production in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, cycle counts, using powered material handling equipment, and maintaining safety and housekeeping per ISO procedures. Prior forklift experience and a valid forklift operator license are required.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Able to read and write sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Insure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Load and unload yarn from trucks.
• Pull yarn orders for tufting.
• Perform daily audits for inventory verification.
• Move and locate yarn in the warehouse using scanners.
• Record all cases located into warehouse locations per FQ-137.
• Do daily inspection on lift truck equipment.
• Locate material in designated areas and maintain housekeeping.
• Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations.
• Follow ISO procedures and support sustainability commitments.
