Job summary

Titan Specialty in McDonough, GA is seeking a full-time material handler to load/unload trucks, assemble orders, and move materials to storage. You will operate forklifts, prepare pallets, label items, and ensure accurate inventory documentation.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, forklift certification, basic math, and 1 year of manufacturing/distribution experience. Overtime and teamwork in a fast-paced setting are expected.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; may obtain GED via Carlstar program within 12 months.
Willingness to work any shift and overtime.
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
Must pass background, reference check, drug test and physical exam.
Possess/obtain forklift certification and license.
Able to safely operate forklift and material handling equipment.
Proficient computer skills.
Prior manufacturing and/or distribution experience.
Experience with Lean, Kaizen and high performance work teams.
Ability to work fast-paced with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with RF handheld WMS systems.
Minimum 1 year in manufacturing/distribution in similar role.
Strong communication; able to work independently or in a team.
Adaptable and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Select materials from storage and assemble orders, label, and transport to staging areas.
Unload and load trucks.
Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
Audit finished goods and complete required reports.
Prepare barcode and inventory information for pallets and shipping.
Wrap finished product and prepare end-of-shift reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
