Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking a Material Handler to support our coil coating production line.

This hands-on role interacts with the manufacturing process from raw materials to finished product and requires flexibility to cover various duties in a continuous operation. The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow FIFO guidelines, math and written instructions.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to work off shifts and OT hours.
• Ability to perform math functions and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of forklifts.
• Supply the line with raw product using FIFO, move finished product to shipping.
• Weigh and empty scrap hoppers, drums and totes.
• Stage coils for coil pack and check for damage.
• Check paperwork and keep work area clean.
• Participate in safety and other training programs.
• Operate forklift; prior forklift experience required.
• Other duties as assigned.
