Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Material Handler in Toledo, OH. The role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, staging production kits, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure timely material flow.

The position requires 1–3 years of related experience, forklift certification, and strong computer skills. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of inventory control, kitting, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Forklift Operator certification required (Trainer certification a plus).
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Kanban, or Just-in-Time environments preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting and discrepancy investigation.
• Prepare and stage production kits according to kit sheets.
• Report damaged materials, inventory shortages, and stock discrepancies.
• Track inventory movements and update inventory records.
• Maintain organized inventory and kitting areas using 5S principles.
• Perform basic visual inspections to identify defective parts.
• Support additional warehouse and production activities as assigned.
