Job summary

Western Partitions, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Driver/Material Handler in the southern Columbus area to operate forklifts, load/unload shipments, and move materials within the warehouse and production facility.

Ideal candidates will have forklift certification, experience in warehouse operations, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. The role requires physical activity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification/license (or willingness to obtain one).
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Load and unload trucks with accuracy in material handling and placement.
• Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility.
• Move and load raw materials and finished products as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records using scanning systems or logs.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and report issues.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock management tasks.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized and safe.
